Starting December 1st, passengers flying with Turkish Airlines can utilize the Smart Tagged Baggage Service, powered by Samsung’s SmartThings Find technology. This innovative service allows travelers to efficiently track their misplaced or delayed baggage equipped with Galaxy SmartTag, ensuring faster recovery and a seamless travel experience.
Through this collaboration, Turkish Airlines becomes the launch airline to implement SmartThings technologies for passenger baggage tracking worldwide, showcasing its commitment to innovation and a passenger-first digital approach. The service also allows passengers to upload a photo of their luggage within the SmartThings Find app, making it easier to identify their baggage. The airline plans to expand SmartThings Find integration beyond baggage services, exploring future location-based passenger-focused digital solutions.
