OPPO Egypt, in collaboration with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Nile University, has completed the third phase of its ongoing training initiative, giving students practical exposure to professional environments within the technology industry.
The latest phase brought together students from Nile University’s technology-related disciplines for an in-depth introduction to customer service and after-sales operations. The training provided students with insights into real-world processes, professional standards and day-to-day operations, helping them gain a clearer understanding of the skills and career opportunities available within the technology sector.
Bridging Academic Learning and Industry Experience
Building on the initiative’s previous phases, the collaboration brings together the expertise of the private sector, government and academia to help students complement their academic education with practical industry exposure.
The program also highlights the importance of developing talent equipped with skills that can respond to the evolving requirements of Egypt’s technology sector and its growing electronics industry.
Supporting Egypt’s Electronics Manufacturing Ecosystem
Dr. Yasser Abdelbary, Director of Electronics Industry at ITIDA, highlighted the collaboration as part of efforts to develop industry-ready Egyptian talent in advanced electronics and smartphone manufacturing.
Nile University Strengthens Industry Exposure
Dr. Amr Safwat, Provost and Acting Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Nile University, said the university is focused on bridging the gap between classroom learning and the skills students need to succeed in the workplace.

The third phase is part of OPPO Egypt’s broader efforts to support youth development and talent growth in Egypt.
