LG Electronics, in collaboration with Outright Games and cloud gaming provider Blacknut, has introduced NBA Bounce to its smart TVs and displays powered by webOS 6.0 and above. This move aligns with LG’s broader strategy to enhance large-screen gaming experiences by offering integrated, accessible entertainment options for users of all ages.
The game is now available via the LG Gaming Portal and LG Apps, delivering an arcade-style basketball experience designed for interactive, at-home gameplay.
A Family-Friendly Gaming Experience
NBA Bounce offers a fast-paced and flexible gameplay experience, allowing users to play solo, team up with family and friends, or compete against each other. The game is designed to be easy to learn and control, supporting both traditional game controllers and smartphones equipped with compatible control apps.
It supports up to four players simultaneously and includes three difficulty levels, along with a guided tutorial for first-time users. This accessibility makes it suitable for a wide range of age groups and skill levels, reinforcing its appeal as a shared home entertainment option.
Rich Content and Multiple Game Modes
As an officially licensed NBA title, NBA Bounce features all 30 teams from the league. Players can customize their in-game avatars with various outfits and accessories or choose to represent their favorite teams directly.
The game includes multiple gameplay modes, such as:
- Quick matches in a 3v3 format
- Full seasonal competitions
- Custom tournaments
Additionally, the Party Mode introduces quarterly updates with creative challenges, including:
- Electroball, featuring electrified basketballs
- Ball Pop, where balls burst into confetti upon impact
Added Value for LG Users
Customers who purchase NBA Bounce through the LG Gaming Portal receive the Retro Party Pack DLC at no additional cost. This package includes classic jerseys, logos, player accessories, and unique in-game effects.
LG also provides a Steam key, enabling users to access the game on PCs and other devices compatible with the Steam platform, expanding gameplay flexibility across multiple ecosystems.
Expanding Cloud Gaming Ecosystem
The LG Gaming Portal reflects the company’s commitment to advancing large-screen gaming by offering a growing library of content. The platform currently features more than 4,000 cloud games and approximately 900 single-player and multiplayer online titles.
According to LG’s internal data, the number of active users on the platform has doubled over the past year, highlighting strong adoption and engagement.
LG is also expanding the Gaming Portal to additional markets this month, including Colombia, Latvia, Serbia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, alongside extended support for devices running webOS 5.0.
Smart TVs Designed for the Future of Gaming
LG’s smart TV lineup, including the latest QNED evo and Micro RGB models, offers ultra-large screens reaching 100 inches and beyond. These displays provide direct access to the LG Gaming Portal without the need for external consoles, PCs, or separate downloads.
This integrated approach simplifies access to gaming while delivering high-quality visuals and seamless performance through cloud-based technology.
Ongoing Commitment to Innovation
LG continues to invest in enhancing its gaming platform by introducing new titles and improving user-centric features. The company aims to create a more immersive and convenient gaming environment directly on its smart displays.
