BFE Investment Services, licensed by Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority and a subsidiary of Egypt Post Investment—the investment arm of the National Postal Authority—has launched its new mobile application, “Flousi”, marking the first digital platform in Egypt that allows citizens to purchase and redeem mutual fund units directly via smartphone.
The Flousi app represents a strategic initiative to strengthen Egypt Post’s role in the financial technology sector. The platform offers the country’s broadest selection of investment products, enabling users to invest in nearly 40 mutual funds, including gold funds, fixed-income funds, equity funds, sectoral funds, and index funds, in collaboration with leading asset managers in the Egyptian market.
Seamless End-to-End Digital Onboarding
Flousi provides a fully digital user journey, starting from app download to electronic contract signing (E-Contract). The platform incorporates electronic Know Your Customer (E-KYC) procedures via national ID verification through an authorized electronic outsourcing company registered with the Financial Regulatory Authority. Once the account is activated, users can fund their digital wallets through Egypt Post accounts or traditional bank accounts.
Flexible Investment Options and Security
The application does not impose a fixed minimum investment; instead, the minimum is based on the subscription price of each fund. Flousi adheres to high cybersecurity standards and data protection protocols, having passed extensive testing by the Financial Regulatory Authority on its data centers and operational systems to ensure safe and secure digital transactions.
User Support and Future Expansion
Users benefit from integrated in-app technical support, ensuring a smooth and reliable investment experience. The platform also plans to expand by adding new financial and investment products, enhancing Egypt Post Investment’s mission to provide low-cost, accessible digital investment solutions for Egyptian citizens.
