With more than 115 million taxi trips recorded in Dubai during 2024, ground transportation continues to form a critical pillar of business travel across the UAE. Against this backdrop, Tumodo has announced a strategic partnership with Yango Rides for business, integrating ride-booking and expense management into a unified digital platform designed to optimise time and costs for companies operating throughout the region.
A Strategic Alliance to Streamline Corporate Travel
[United Arab Emirates – 24 November 2025]: Tumodo, the UAE-based business travel platform, has unveiled a new collaboration with Yango Rides for business, the B2B arm of the global ride-hailing service Yango Ride. The partnership enables corporate users to book Yango rides directly through Tumodo’s integrated platform, with all trip-related expenses automatically consolidated into travel reports.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai’s public transport and shared mobility sector transported 747.1 million riders in 2024, a 6.4% year-on-year increase. Taxis accounted for 26% of total ridership, reaffirming their essential role in the emirate’s expanding transportation network.
The partnership reinforces Yango Rides for business’s presence in the UAE’s corporate travel landscape, while supporting Tumodo’s ambition to build a fully automated system for business travel management covering flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
Dubai’s Taxi Sector: A Growing Hub for Corporate Mobility
Dubai remains one of the region’s fastest-growing markets for taxi services, driven by consistent increases in ridership. During the first half of 2025 alone, the city recorded 59.5 million taxi trips, carrying 103.5 million passengers, representing 7% growth compared with the same period in 2024.
In 2024, Dubai completed over 115 million taxi trips, supported by a robust fleet of 12,778 vehicles and almost 30,000 drivers. Notably, 83% of the fleet now consists of hybrid and electric vehicles, aligning with the UAE’s long-term sustainability agenda and solidifying Dubai’s position as a leader in green mobility.
A Global Mobility Network Supporting Local Efficiency
Backed by one of the world’s largest transportation ecosystems, Yango Ride operates in over 25 countries, with more than 1.2 billion rides completed globally and 2.1 million registered drivers. This global scale enhances the reliability of its corporate travel solutions, helping businesses of all sizes streamline ground transportation and ensure cost-efficient operations across employee journeys.
“Our goal is to make corporate mobility as predictable and manageable as any other business expense,” said Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head of Yango Group Middle East. “In Abu Dhabi, we recently integrated city taxis into our corporate travel offering, enabling businesses to save up to 30% compared with ad-hoc bookings. Through our collaboration with Tumodo, companies across the UAE will now be able to access that level of efficiency within their travel ecosystem.”
This sentiment was echoed by Mohanad Nada, Head of GCC at Tumodo, who noted: “Our partnership with Yango Rides for business adds another critical layer to Tumodo’s platform—ground transportation. This collaboration enables companies to manage every element of a business trip through a single system, strengthening control, efficiency, and transparency.”
Supporting the UAE’s Vision for Smart, Sustainable Mobility
As Tumodo accelerates its expansion across the GCC, the company remains committed to driving digital transformation within corporate travel. The partnership with Yango Rides for business aligns with the UAE’s broader national agenda to promote innovation, smart mobility, and sustainable transportation solutions.
By integrating ride-booking and automated expense reporting into one seamless interface, Tumodo and Yango are reshaping the future of business travel management—setting new standards for efficiency, transparency, and corporate mobility across the region.
