SAP is set to host SAP NOW AI, a high-profile event in Riyadh bringing together business leaders, technology experts, and government officials to discuss the pivotal role of artificial intelligence (AI) in accelerating the Kingdom’s economic transformation in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The event will focus on practical mechanisms for leveraging AI to enhance competitiveness, operational efficiency, and business growth amid Saudi Arabia’s rapid digital transformation, driven by the National Strategy for Data and Artificial Intelligence.
97% of Saudi Companies Trust AI-Driven Decisions
A recent survey conducted by YouGov and commissioned by SAP revealed a strong trust among Saudi companies in AI capabilities. According to the results, 70% of organizations consider AI a core component of their future strategies, while 97% expressed high confidence in relying on smart data for strategic decision-making.
The survey also found that 51% of companies expect significant financial returns from their AI investments within one to two years, while 81% are already implementing AI-based solutions in specific sectors — reflecting the rapid adoption of intelligent technologies across Saudi Arabia’s business landscape.
AI as a Cornerstone of Corporate Strategy
Mohammed Al-Rumayzan, Vice President of SAP Saudi Arabia, emphasized that AI has become a pillar of organizational transformation in the Kingdom, noting that Saudi companies increasingly rely on intelligent systems to boost efficiency and performance.
He stated: “SAP NOW AI highlights how organizations can translate this momentum into tangible outcomes — from improving customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth to optimizing supply chain resilience and enhancing decision-making agility — all in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s digital ambitions.”
Saudi Arabia Becomes the First Country to Host SAP Business Network for the Public Sector
The event follows SAP’s recent announcement designating Saudi Arabia as the first country to host the SAP Business Network for the public sector, a milestone that reinforces digital sovereignty by hosting data locally and connecting government buyers with global suppliers.
Powered by Google Cloud, the network supports over $6.1 trillion in annual trade transactions, with plans to expand services to the private sector by early 2026.
Executive Attendance and Diverse Agenda
More than 1,000 senior executives from various industries are expected to attend, alongside platinum sponsors including Google. The agenda will feature sessions on sustainability, manufacturing, HR, procurement, and real-world AI success stories from leading enterprises.
Key SAP executives joining the event include Augusta Spinelli, Regional President for Europe, Middle East & Africa; Ahmed Al-Faifi, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for North Middle East & Africa; and Jasper Schliemann, Head of Business AI for the region.
Speakers will explore the emerging concept of Agentic AI, where intelligent systems autonomously make decisions and execute tasks, improving responsiveness and operational agility in modern enterprises.
SAP–Databricks Partnership: Unlocking Enterprise Data Value
The event will also spotlight SAP’s collaboration with Databricks through the SAP Business Data Cloud platform, designed to help Saudi organizations harness both structured and unstructured data for predictive analytics and smarter decision-making.
Industry experts estimate that 90% of global enterprise data remains untapped, underscoring the need for AI-powered analytics as a strategic imperative for the future of business in the Kingdom.
