The role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the growth of UAE’s economy is significant. With SMEs and MSMEs constituting more than 94 percent of all businesses in the UAE, they form a significant portion of the workforce, accounting for 86 percent, and contribute over 60 percent to the country’s GDP. These statistics highlight the immense importance of SMEs in driving economic development and diversification, underscoring their pivotal role in the overall prosperity of the UAE.
In an endeavour to recognise these outstanding contributions of SMEs and MSMEs, Tally Solutions’ highly anticipated MSME Honours took center stage recently, honouring individuals who have left an enduring mark in their respective industries. The prestigious award ceremony celebrated remarkable businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals who have demonstrated unwavering commitment, innovation, and resilience in their fields.

Tally MSME Honours awarded outstanding businesses across four categories including Wonder Woman, E-preneur Icon, Tech Transformer and Business Maestro.
The WonderWoman Category witnessed some outstanding achievers including Vandana Jain, the visionary Founder of Vandana Jain Culinary Courses, Rajani Nalla of Trusity Innovations Learning, Anishkaa Gehani of Yardstick Marketing, Dr. Heike Lieb-Wilson of Brightly Labs and Latifa Mohammed Zaheer of Lahori Chatkhara Kiraak Hyderabadi Restaurant.
In addition, Tally MSME Awards also paid tribute to Business Maestros and their visionary leaders who have achieved significant milestones. This included Dr. Hidayat Khan of Humancare Worldwide Medical Treatment Facilitation Services. In addition, Umendra Chaturvedi’s leadership at Nadeem and Umendra Chartered Accountants, Priti Rege and Suhas Rege, spearheading Liwa Advertising DMCC, and Wasim Mourad from Fleet Management Systems Company WLL (FMSI) were some others who were awarded in this category. Swati Vedvyas, the Founder of Cosmo Advertising Gifts LLC, was also honoured as a part of Business Maestros.
The Tally MSME Awards also celebrated the contributions of Tech Transformers who have made remarkable advancements in the digital realm. Among the Tech Transformers were CA Dixit Jain of The Tax Experts DMCC, Rajiv Shah, Founder of Someli Marketing and Technology Ltd, Shafeek Shahul Hameed, the driving force behind Gamer Zone LLC, CA Abhishek R. The E-preneur Icons category included Azzal Chotani, Founder of Azzallure LLC, Nanki Sehgal, Founder of Nanki Makeup Artistry, Ekta Kumar, Founder of Ekta Kumar Photography, Rajni Bapna, the creative force behind StylDesi FZE, and Sreemanti Gijare, acclaimed clinical hypnotherapist and Founder of HealingWithSree LLC.
