Pure Storage, the global leader in data center solutions, announced its plans to achieve 50% growth in its business volume in the Egyptian market by the end of this year. The company, now in its third year of operations in Egypt, participated for the third consecutive time at Cairo ICT, the premier technology exhibition and conference for the Middle East and Africa. Pure Storage was present within the AIDC 2025 Hall, dedicated to data centers, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, parallel to Cairo ICT 2025 under the slogan of “AI Everywhere”.
Eng. Ali Haseeb, Country Manager for Egypt and Libya at Pure Storage, stated that Cairo ICT represents a unique and pivotal milestone for Egypt’s ICT sector, bringing together the largest techn companies and institutions operating in the market. He added that senior leaders from Pure Storage’s global headquarters attended AIDC 2025 due to its significance for the region, the Middle East, and Africa.
Haseeb emphasized that the company is committed to showcasing new and advanced services each year at the exhibition. Pure Storage has secured major government technology and AI projects in cooperation with leading global tech organizations. He also noted that several of Egypt’s largest banks rely on Pure Storage solutions to support their digital transformation journeys and to deliver advanced digital financial applications including offerings such as Portworx across banking and government sectors.
He revealed that Pure Storage collaborates in its projects with Egypt’s largest data center service providers, including eFinance and Raya Data Center. Pure Storage is distinguished by a powerful technology foundation established 16 years ago, making it one of the earliest companies with a stable and evolving strategy in flash storage technology. The company has since become one of the world’s largest flash technology manufacturers. Last year, Meta purchased several exabytes of flash storage from Pure Storage. The company now aims to achieve 50% year-on-year business growth in Egypt by the end of 2025, compared to 2024.
Haseeb also noted that when Pure Storage first entered Egypt three years ago, it served only two clients; today, the company supports more than 40 customers across government, banking, healthcare, oil and gas, energy, telecom, security agencies, and other vital sectors, in addition to mid-sized enterprises. Pure Storage has also won Egypt’s largest government AI project to date. Furthermore, the company maintains strategic integrations with Commvault, Red Hat, and Cisco, and expects to launch a strong global partnership with Nutanix in Egypt in 2026.
He added that Pure Storage aims to further expand its business footprint, grow its local engineering and technical teams, and host senior global executives to meet with major clients in the Egyptian market. The leadership team will also engage with government officials and decision-makers to explore technology and digital transformation trends and requirements, alongside meetings with key enterprise customers in Egypt.
