Global leader in hybrid and electric vehicles, iCAUR, officially entered the UAE market with a high-profile launch event at the Park Hyatt Dubai. The evening was attended by senior executives from iCAUR, prominent figures, and media representatives. Guests experienced an immersive presentation highlighting the design philosophy, engineering, and technological innovations behind the iCAUR V27.
Flagship Model: The iCAUR V27
The launch marks the regional introduction of iCAUR’s flagship SUV, the V27—a mid-to-large hybrid vehicle. Having attracted international attention at major automotive exhibitions last year, the V27 is now available for customers worldwide. Tim Chang, General Manager of Chery International – Middle East, stated: “The global launch from the UAE demonstrates our commitment to consumers across the region, providing premium products and experiences for youthful and tech-savvy drivers.”
Classic Design Meets Advanced Electric Technology
The V27 embodies iCAUR’s vision of “New Energy Classics,” combining the boxy SUV design with state-of-the-art energy technologies. The vehicle offers versatility for city driving and off-road adventures. Extensive development and testing ensured the V27 surpasses industry standards. Over 1,000 test vehicles covered more than one million kilometers in diverse conditions, from extreme heat and cold to complex terrains across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other regions.
Interior Innovation: Stellar Cockpit
The V27 interior introduces the “Stellar Cockpit,” featuring a panoramic dual Stellar Porthole sunroof with 99.9% UV protection and a floating Star Island roof. The 2,900mm wheelbase allows comfortable seating for five passengers, combining spaciousness with advanced technology.
Golden REEV System: Extended-Range Electric Driving
The V27’s Golden REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) system delivers over 150 km of pure electric driving range and a total range exceeding 995 km. Unlike conventional hybrid systems, the REEV uses electric motors exclusively for propulsion, providing instant torque and smooth acceleration, while the gasoline engine operates solely as a generator when needed.
Customization and Lifestyle Integration
iCAUR offers 39 integrated ports and a wide range of accessories and upgrade options, reflecting the brand’s focus on high-quality, modern lifestyle experiences. Customers in the UAE will benefit from a fully integrated network of showrooms and service centers. The main showroom is located at Al Wahda Center on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, with additional showrooms in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
AiMOGA Robotics and Experiential Displays
Visitors to the showrooms can interact with AiMOGA robots, central to iCAUR’s ecosystem, alongside the V27, providing a hands-on experience with new energy technologies. Tim Chang added: “Our vision in the UAE goes beyond showrooms. We are creating a complete ecosystem including world-class aftersales services and owner communities for sharing experiences, enjoying unique journeys, and connecting with our trained teams.”
Global Expansion Plans
Following the Dubai launch, the V27 will roll out to other international markets throughout the year, offering drivers a new option that blends classic SUV aesthetics with advanced new energy technology.
