AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, announced its participation at Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2026), taking place at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo from March 30 to April 1, 2026.
In collaboration with Schneider Electric, AVEVA will showcase a portfolio of advanced digital solutions, including digital twins, industrial artificial intelligence, and unified engineering technologies. These solutions are designed to accelerate digital transformation, enhance sustainability, and improve operational performance across the energy sector.
Egypt’s evolving energy landscape
Egypt’s energy sector is currently undergoing a transitional phase, characterized by a strong reliance on natural gas while steadily integrating renewable energy sources. This balanced approach reflects a pragmatic transition strategy rather than a complete structural shift.
The country has set ambitious renewable energy targets, aiming to reach 42% by 2030 and exceed 60% by 2040. At the same time, the transition toward emerging energy sources such as clean hydrogen requires new frameworks for transportation, distribution, and regulatory alignment.
By combining innovation with a diversified energy mix, Egypt is positioning itself to build a resilient and sustainable energy future aligned with its long-term national priorities.
Industrial intelligence driving energy transformation
Commenting on the participation, Khaled Salah, Vice President for Africa at AVEVA, emphasized the country’s growing role in the regional energy landscape.
He noted that Egypt is rapidly evolving into a strategic energy hub, driven by natural gas development, renewable energy expansion, and regional integration. As the industry works to address the energy trilemma of reliability, affordability, and sustainability, industrial intelligence is becoming increasingly critical.
He added that AVEVA’s participation at EGYPES 2026 will focus on demonstrating how advanced industrial software can enable real-time, data-driven decision-making, supporting efficiency, innovation, and sustainability across energy operations.
Advanced solutions for end-to-end optimization
During the event, AVEVA will highlight a suite of integrated digital solutions aimed at enhancing project execution and operational visibility.
Key solutions include:
- Enhanced AVEVA Unified Engineering, enabling seamless collaboration across teams and workflows within a unified digital environment
- Unified Operations Center, delivering real-time operational insights and centralized control
- CONNECT platform, providing industrial intelligence through AI-powered analytics
- Industrial digital twin capabilities, enabling simulation and optimization of assets and processes
- Advanced value chain optimization tools supporting end-to-end carbon management
- AVEVA PI System, designed to capture and analyze historical asset performance data to enable predictive maintenance strategies
These solutions collectively support energy companies in optimizing performance, reducing emissions, and improving lifecycle management across assets and operations.
Engagement with industry leaders at EGYPES
AVEVA’s participation at EGYPES 2026 underscores its commitment to supporting the digital transformation of the energy sector in Egypt and across the region.
Industry experts from AVEVA will be available at Stand #2F60, Hall 2, where they will engage with stakeholders and demonstrate how the Unified Operations Center leverages CONNECT to deliver real-time, AI-driven insights.
Through its collaboration with Schneider Electric and its presence at one of the region’s leading energy events, AVEVA aims to contribute to shaping the future of energy by enabling smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient industrial operations.
