Arab Bank Group delivered strong financial results for the third quarter of 2025, driven by sustained growth across its core banking sectors and an expanding customer base in key regional markets.
Solid Growth in Profits and Assets
The Group reported net profits after tax of USD 818.1 million as of September 30, 2025, compared to USD 748.6 million for the same period last year — a 9.3% increase supported by strong performance in core banking operations and diversified income streams.
Total assets rose to USD 76.8 billion, marking an 8.9% growth compared to the third quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, net loans and advances reached USD 37 billion, up from USD 34.1 billion, reflecting an 8.6% increase.
Customer deposits also grew by 8% to USD 55.8 billion, underscoring rising customer confidence in the Group’s financial stability and service excellence. In addition, shareholders’ equity increased to USD 12.9 billion, reinforcing the Group’s ability to support future investment and expansion plans.
Strategic Focus on Sustainable Growth
Commenting on the results, Sabih Masri, Chairman of Arab Bank, said the strong performance reflects the Group’s firm commitment to implementing its long-term strategy, focused on sustainable growth, efficiency, and prudent management of liquidity, capital, and risk.
Masri highlighted the Group’s resilience in navigating economic challenges while continuing to deliver innovative banking solutions that meet customer needs. He also noted the Group’s strategic expansion, including the launch of Arab Bank Iraq earlier this year to serve clients in the Iraqi market. Furthermore, he pointed to the merger between Gonet Bank, owned by Arab Bank (Switzerland), and ONE Swiss Bank, as part of the Group’s strategy to enhance its wealth management and private banking offerings.
Strong Capital Base and Risk Management
Randa Sadik, Chief Executive Officer of Arab Bank, stated that the Group’s wide geographic presence and diversified revenue sources played a pivotal role in supporting operational performance amid ongoing economic challenges.
She noted that the loan-to-deposit ratio stood at 73.2%, reflecting healthy liquidity levels, while non-performing loan coverage exceeded 100%, underscoring the quality of the loan portfolio and effective risk management practices.
Sadik added that the Group maintains a robust capital base, primarily composed of core capital, with a capital adequacy ratio of 17.2%, well above the Central Bank of Jordan’s minimum regulatory requirement — further reinforcing the Group’s solid financial position.
Investing in Digital Transformation and Innovation
Sadik emphasized Arab Bank’s continued investment in digital technologies and innovative banking services, designed to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. She noted that these initiatives are integral to achieving sustainable, long-term growth in an increasingly digital financial landscape.
