For the first time in Egypt, businesses can complete the activation of mobile lines electronically after verifying the identity of the actual user of each line. Customers can also submit an online request to deactivate any number they no longer wish to keep. Identity verification is supported by the national ID card and facial recognition technology, giving customers greater visibility and control over the mobile lines registered in their names.
